Intellon is the world leader in powerline communications. The Company designs and sells integrated circuits (ICs) for powerline communications, providing HomePlug - compliant and other powerline ICs for home networking, networked entertainment, commercial and broadband over powerline (BPL) applications.


Marine Desalinization Systems has developed technology to enable the extraction of drinking water from humid air. They have used the technology to create the Atmospheric Water Harvester - a self-contained, stand-alone system to produce potable water from relatively humid air for disaster relief or for use in remote areas. The Atmospheric Water Harvester is expected to perform best in naturally humid areas such as coastal regions and oceanic islands. The need for the system is expected to be greatest in locations that experience outages in the normal supply of water from events such as hurricanes, typhoons, or drought.
